Anne is a University of Strathclyde graduate who worked for several years as a consulting engineer in the HVAC industry. She joined Star Refrigeration as a Sales engineer and worked in this capacity for 6 years before taking a career break. Anne spent some years in Ireland running several businesses including 3 years’ operating an energy consultancy business. On her return to Glasgow Anne re-joined the Star Refrigeration Group in March 2017 in the consultancy division Star Technical Solutions (STS) as Business Development Manager for their new energy management product Ethos. Anne’s interests lie in the optimisation of the operation of refrigeration plant to maximise energy efficiency. Her background in refrigeration and energy consultancy has provided her with the ideal knowledge base to provide these services. Since joining Star Anne has worked on projects involving the energy management of a distribution centre for a large retailer, processes in the food industry and load determination for heat pump applications.
